A box factory that behaves like a design studio
We run corrugators and die-cutters in Epping Industria — and we built this platform so our customers can specify packaging the way they actually think about it.
BoxLab was founded in 2019 to solve a boring but expensive problem: getting a straight answer on what branded packaging costs.
Traditionally, ordering custom boxes means an email, a spec sheet, three days of silence and a PDF that is already out of date. We rebuilt that process into a configurator backed by our real production pricing — board costs, print origination, tape and volume breaks — so what you see on screen is what our estimator would have quoted you.
Everything is South African. Our corrugated board is sourced from South African mills, manufactured, printed and die-cut in-house on our Cape Town presses, structurally designed by our local studio, and even this 3D design platform was developed here in South Africa. Delivered nationwide on a 10 to 14 working day lead time.
